Strata Masthead
The aim of this magazine was to provide a reliable and engaging source for lesser-known moments in history. The layered logotype echoes the idea of uncovering buried stories, while a neutral palette evokes a sense of the past. The cover imagery reinforces this tone, chosen to feel archival and reflective of history being brought back into view.

Strata Department Spreads
The goal was to create a familiar and readable set of department spreads for returning Strata readers, while maintaining visual consistency with the masthead. Imagery was kept within a restrained palette, and graphic elements use angled, geometric forms to reflect the layered concept established in the logo. This results in a modular and accessible system that can be easily adapted for future issues

Strata Feature Article
The objective was to highlight the story of the 1908 New York to Paris race by using navigation as a core theme in this feature article, while evoking classic road trip imagery with a historical tone. This approach created a natural visual flow from the intro spread through the article, maintaining consistency in atmosphere and narrative across the article.
